But why pretty it up? We all want a deal when we shop, so whether we say inexpensive or cheap, it's all good when it comes to bang for our buck. Cheap domain registration is not synonomous with low quality, so don't be thinking they're going to run away with your domain name or bamboozle you some other way, it ain't gonna happen.

Since domain names, like hosting, are a constantly renewable expense, it's definitely worth it to make sure you're getting the best cheap domain registration you can. While there are loads of domain companies to choose from, here's my take on two that offer cheap domain registration but are also completely reputable, reliable and tried and tested by yours truly (along with zillions of other domain buying folks).

The two cheap domain registration companies I use most (because I am a cheap kind of gal) are Godaddy.com and Namecheap.com. The great thing about Godaddy is there are usually online or email coupon codes you can use for them, so their already affordable price goes down even more. Just do a Google search for "godaddy coupon codes", that should get you started.

Additionally, when hunting down cheap domain registration, be aware that by choosing the non-com names (like net, org, info, etc), you can get a better deal on your domain from the get-go, which is a good thing since the .coms we want are so often taken.

So don't spend all your money on domain names, shop around, compare prices, read reviews and you'll find that cheap domain registration is at your fingertips. Just remember, there's no time to dawdle, snap up that domain name before it's taken!
